The Third Season 2025 – 2026
In 2023-24 Simon Wise and I started this podcast to cover Chiang Mai FC’s season in T2 under new local ownership.
Year one was focused on the sorry collapse of Chiang Mai FC. Players, staff, suppliers unpaid. Coaches fired. An owner who killed the club and despite a fourth pace finish saw CMFC relegated to Thai League 3 largely due to ownership-related financial and administrative failures.
The CMFC English page and those of us associated with it, and our families, were also blocked from the club’s facebook page. We were not alone.
So in year two we tried to cover as much of T2 as possible and to venture occasionally into T3. We recorded 54 episodes in the second season. We were also joined by Phil Williams as a co-host.
The 2025-2026 season continued with the same hosts and format – at least until we change our minds and add something new.
As of February 2026 Simon Wise has left the team and no longer has any association with, or involvement in, the podcast. This should move the podcast from X certificate to PG required!
