The “new” CMFC started training today – although there remains some uncertainty over the final completion of the sale/purchase of the club.
There is a picture online that shows K. Sand, the new investors and the new head coach.
This page has asked if that picture may be republished. We were requested to wait until Friday 26th July by which date the Thai League has required that all CMFC player debts are cleared.
So once again we must wait a few more days for confirmation of the sale, and for clarity on the new owners of the football club.
However the first training pictures with Brazilian coach Reuther Moreira are widely available online and are republished here.
Moreira is a former goalkeeper who started his career with São Paulo. He has lived in Thailand for eighteen years and has been Head Coach/Manager/Technical Director at Sisaket United, Nakhon Ratchasima, Bangkok FC, Phitsanulok, Phuket Andaman, Trat FC, Trang FC, Trang United, Ranong United and Udon Thani.
The good news is that there are players training and staff in place. The bad news is that there is, after all this time, still nothing from the club, the investors or Khun Sand.
